The Sun is a weekly newspaper that covers the Hummelstown, Hershey and Palmyra areas. The paper goes to press on Wednesday. Online subscribers receive the paper Wednesday night. Most print subscribers receive the paper on Thursday.

The deadline for advertising is Monday at noon for the issue to come out the following Thursday.

Ad agencies: The rate shown on our local rate card is our "net" rate.

For event announcements and press releases, please be sure to include the basics: Who, What, When, Where and Why. (For example: The Trinity United Methodist Youth will hold a bake sale on June 4 in the parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church at 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown, to raise money for their annual mission trip.)
