NOTICE OF HEARING
The Zoning Hearing Board of the Township of Derry will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, and if necessary, Thursday, September 16, 2010, at 6:00 P.M. in the Meeting Room of the Derry Township Municipal Building located at 600 Clearwater Rd., Hershey, PA. Beginning at the scheduled hour, the Board will consider the following petitions:
Continuance of Petition 2010-27 as filed by McDonald’s USA, LLC, 3025 Chemical Rd., Suite 100, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 regarding their property at 611 E. Main St., Hummelstown, PA, in the General Commercial and General Sign Overlay zoning districts. The property is improved with a restaurant. Petitioner has received Land Development Plan approval to rebuild the restaurant and desires to install new signage on the property. Relief is sought from, but not necessarily limited to, regulations limiting sign sizes and total overall sign area, and the interpretation of elements of the building as signs or the category by which the signs are classified and reviewed. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Conewago Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Conewago Township Building located at the intersection of Ridge Road and Old Hershey Road in Conewago Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to consider a conditional use application to permit the use of a parcel of land located in the “A”-Agricultural Zoning District for a residential use. The applicants are John D. Beiler and Susie K. Beiler who are also the owners of the property. The property is identified as Dauphin County Tax Map Parcel No. 22-014-054 and is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Valley Road and Mapledale Road, and is further identified as the Lot 9 Addition on the subdivision plan recorded at Dauphin County Instrument No. 20070043817.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Derry, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Derry Township Administrative Building, 600 Clearwater Road, Hershey, PA 17033, for the purpose of accepting the resignation of Michael Pries as Township Supervisor, discussing the vacancy created by his resignation, the process to fill that vacancy, and the possible appointment of a successor to fill the vacancy.

A MEETING of the Dauphin County Tax Collection Committee will be held on September 15, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., at the Dauphin County Agricultural and Natural Resources Center, 1451 Peters Mountain Road, Dauphin, PA 17018. The Center is located off Route 225, two miles north of Dauphin.
