Alwine Scores Tying Goal

University of Virginia junior forward Lauren Alwine, a 2008 Lower Dauphin grad, scored the tying goal in the 87th minute of play last Friday night, Aug. 27, in the women’s soccer team’s 1-1 tie against host Penn State. Alwine scored from inside the left wing penalty area for her second goal of the season. She later was stopped on a breakaway during the 107th minute.
