The Bible’s Book of Lamentations is often neglected. Usually the reader is overtaken with Jeremiah’s depressed mood and by the second chapter the reader puts his Bible aside. They give up a chapter too soon, for in the third chapĀ­ter, verses 22-41, 50, the prophet speaks of his hope in the Lord’s nature and tender mercies.
