Girls’ District Basketball
Lower Dauphin’s Bob Heusser and Randy Gambelunghe of Central Dauphin know each other very well. Their girls’ basketball teams have faced each other often, including earlier this season when the Falcons scored a 38-30 non-league victory at home.
Before that, they faced each other regularly in Mid- Penn Keystone Division action while Gambelunghe was coaching at Hershey. Full Story

Jimmy Taylor began his second year as head wrestling coach at Milton Hershey with some aspirations. In his inaugural effort, the Spartans posted a 13-4 overall mark and a 3-3 record in the Capital Division, enough for a middling fourth-place finish. Full Story
Palmyra Grads Named to Hall
The Palmyra Area High School Hall of Fame was to increase by two members in a ceremony held between basketball games Friday in the school gymnasium but only one inductee, 2001 graduate Katie Opilo, was in attendance.
Due to the recent birth of a child, 1999 graduate Susan Sattazahn Gillam could not make the trip from Indianapolis, Ind., and will be honored next year. Full Story

Jim Montgomery spent just one season playing for the Hershey Bears (1995- 96) but he made it a real good one and is now one of a dozen different Hershey players who scored at least 100 points in a season. Full Story
