Unimpressive. Mediocre. Laughable.
However, the group of Trojan wrestlers that strode into Lower Dauphin High School last week were not joking around.

Second-Half Spurt Propels Palmyra

Tied at 23 at halftime, Palmyra scored the first 10 points to start the third and never looked back on the way to a 66-49 win Monday over Mechanicsburg.
The Cougars led 15-8 after one period and the Wildcats reversed that in the second to pull even but trailed by nine going into the fourth. Trey Baker and Adam Newhard split 14 of the 23 points Palmyra racked up in the final period. Full Story

Waybright Honored At Stevens Tech.
Spencer Waybright (left), a senior at Stevens Institute of Technology, was recently selected as Stevens’ representative for the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), woman of the year award.
Spencer was selected for this award based on her achievements in the classroom, within the community and on the lacrosse field. Full Story

A game between Hershey and Lower Dauphin seems to never be short of drama, no matter what the sport and what the standings show.
The same could be said for the game between the Falcons and Trojans in CPIHL action at Klick-Lewis Arena, Monday, Dec. 17.
Lower Dauphin (2-6) put a scare into 6-1-1 Hershey and led 1-0 at the end of the first period. Full Story
With the passing of Cliff Brown last week, it seemed like a good time to make a trip to Middletown, where Brown’s meteoric career originated. Brown, who died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack at 61, was one of many great athletes who starred for the Blue Raiders years ago, before he left to play quarterback for Notre Dame in the early 1970s.
