Wreck on Route 422

Two vehicles collided on the 700 block of East Main Street on Friday afternoon March 1. No serious injuries were reported, but traffic was tied up in the area as crews worked the scene.

Theft at Nike Store

Police are investigating an overnight burglary at the Nike store at the Tanger Outlets in Hershey. According to police, the suspect broke into the store around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 5. Police said the male stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise and left the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Derry Township Police at 717-534-2202.

A Grantville man was killed Monday night following a single-vehicle crash on the 3500 block of Colebrook Road in Conewago Township. Kitchen Fire

Emergency crews responded to a structure fire on the 200 block of Wall Street in Hummelstown around 5 p.m. Feb. 23. According to police, the fire was caused by burnt food in the kitchen. No injuries were reported. Photo: Kristina Cummings.

First-Alarm House Fire

Crews battled a first-alarm house fire in South Hanover Township on Feb. 24. The blaze broke out around 5:30 p.m. on Tulane Road, off of Oakshire Drive, and crews arrived at the scene to find smoke coming from the front door of the home. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
