Dr. Crystal A. Zalonis, 50, of Hummelstown, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at her home peacefully with her family.
Born in Birmingham, AL, on September 29, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Russ and Beverly Watts.
Crystal was an Infectious Diseases Physician having retired from the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She graduated from Lafayette College with degrees in English and Psychology, and received her Doctor of Medicine from NOVA Southeastern in Miami, FL. Crystal especially enjoyed being a mom and spending time with her two children. She enjoyed helping her daughter with dance and watching her son play basketball. Crystal also enjoyed traveling with her husband. Crystal is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dr. Jason Zalonis, whom she married on July 2, 1994; a daughter, Riley; a son, Conlan; a sister, Angie Taylor wife of Paul of Mckinney, TX; and a niece, Kasie Taylor also of Mckinney.
A private family celebration of life was held.
