Judith Lynn Cory, 70, of Hummelstown, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, in the Elizabethtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on October 1, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Donald Joseph and Olive Gayle (nee Brantseg) Cory.
Judy had worked as a florist for Cowan’s Flowers in Wayne, then opened her own floral business “Classic Touch Flowers” serving the Philadelphia Main line. She was extremely artistic and talented, she enjoyed glass blowing and marble making. She loved Himalayan Blue point cats, German shepherd, horses, and reptiles, the latter often found on the loose in the upstairs of the Spruce Tree Road house! She was a huge fan of the gem shows in Arizona and particularly loved the town of Bisbee AZ.
Judy is survived by five brothers, Donald Cory, Jr. of American Falls, ID, James Cory of Philadelphia, Richard Cory of Elverson, PA, Peter Cory of Littlestown, PA, and Stephen Cory of Englewood, CO; one sister, Deborah Cory Slechta of Rochester, NY; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Cam Cory.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Cory.
Services will be held at a later date.
