Lower Dauphin Football: Falcons Throttled by McDevitt in Season FinaleFree Access

The Falcons closed out their 2022 season with the toughest contest on their 10-game schedule … a date with perennial powerhouse Bishop McDevitt.

LD hung in there for nearly half the game, trailing only 21-14 into the second quarter, but then the Crusaders put the throttle down and put the Falcons away, en route to a 68-14 victory Friday night at Rocco Orenzio Stadium.

The Falcons run game was literally non-existence, as they rushed for -2 yards on 18 carries

The only feather in the cap of the Falcon rushing attack was an 11-yard run by Ty Millhimes that went for a score.

The other Falcon score also came from Millhimes, only through the air, as he caught a short Bryce Forney pass to give LD its only other score of the game.

Millhimes finished the game with 5 catches for 118 yards.

Forney threw for 165 yards on 10 of 12 passing and two interceptions.

LD sophomore QB Carter Burton got in a few reps, throwing for 10 yards on 2 of 2 passing.

Lower Dauphin finished the season going 2-5 in the Keystone Division and 4-6 overall.
