Michael R. Logan, 74, of Chambers Hill, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Harrisburg on August 7, 1948, he was the son of W. Jack and Evelyn “Bee” V. Holbert Logan.
Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce A. Deimler Logan, whom he married on February 8, 1969; two daughters, Tracy L. Stiles wife of Steve of Ocean Pines, MD, and Stacy L. Hummel wife of Ryan of Linglestown; two grandchildren, Cody Kunselman of Harrisburg and Addison Hummel of Linglestown; one brother, Jack Logan husband of Cordelia of Florida; three grandpuppies, Beaker, Lionel and Lexi; and one great grandpuppy, Axle.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon A. Nestler.
Mike retired as a Weigh Master from Handwerk Materials of Middletown; and after retirement had various delivery and service jobs. He was a 1947 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School. Mike was a member and former head usher of Garden Chapel in Middletown. He also helped volunteer for the Chambers Hill Lions Club even though he was not a member. Mike enjoyed spending time with family, his grandchildren, and grandpuppies, but most of all he to golf.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Mark R. Brussel and The Rev. Peter Ryneski, his pastors, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A visitation will be held in the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
