One person is dead following a fiery crash on Wood Road, between Waltonville and Middletown roads, early Thursday morning, March 30.
Crews were called to the scene around 2 a.m. after a vehicle came off the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.
Police said the driver, 44-year-old Eric Wetherbee, of Hummelstown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was closed for several hours as crews investigated the scene and PPL made repairs to the power lines.
