Cotton Honored Dec. 20 At PSU



Victor Cotton of Hershey will be honored as the student marshal for the Eberly College of Science during Penn State University’s fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 20, on the University Park campus. Cotton will graduate with a 4.0 grade point average and a Bachelor of Science degree in science.

Here Comes Santa Claus



The Fuzzy Few Organization will once again bring Santa Claus to Schaffner Park (Boro Park) in Hummelstown on Dec. 17 and 18, 6:30-8 p.m. All young, and young at heart, are invited to come sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what you want for Christmas. It’s free! Just bring your holiday spirit, a smile and a camera.

World Culture: Panama Canal



The World Culture Club of Central PA will present a free program, The Panama Canal: Celebrating 100 Years, on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The presentation will be held at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, 500 University Drive, on the 5th Floor, Lecture Room C at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
